Video Submission Guidelines:
- Focus on pure education - no selling, promotional offers, or business pitches. Your expertise and knowledge are the spotlight here
- Video Structure (under 3 minutes): First 5-10 seconds: Introduce yourself and the topic. Next 2-2.5 minutes: Cover your main points. Final 15-20 seconds: Wrap up with a call to action
- Start with a brief introduction of yourself and your business (name, what you do, how long you've been in the community)
- End with a clear call to action or way for viewers to learn more about your services
- Record from your desktop computer using your webcam (not mobile) - this ensures better website compatibility and professional presentation
- Ensure you have an HD webcam (minimum 1080p resolution) - video quality is crucial as it directly impacts how your content is received by viewers. A low-quality camera will result in a low-quality video that may not meet our platform standards
- Set up in a well-lit area with natural light facing you, avoiding backlighting from windows
- Choose a clean, professional background - either your office or a simple wall (avoid cluttered or distracting spaces)
- Position yourself at eye level with your webcam, about arm's length away from the camera
- Test your audio before recording - use a quality microphone if possible, or ensure you're in a quiet room with minimal echo
- Dress professionally but comfortably in solid colors (avoid busy patterns or bright white)
- Speak naturally and conversationally, as if talking to a potential client
- Lastly, remember to look directly into your camera while speaking!
